General Terms & Conditions
Minimum Rental Period: Three days, which includes:
- Up to 2 drivers with valid driving licenses.
- Drivers must be at least 22 years old with a minimum of 2 years of driving experience.
Free Delivery & Collection: Available at the jetty or airport for your convenience.Unlimited Mileage: Drive as much as you like—no extra charges for distance.Inclusive Taxes: All rental prices include applicable taxes.
Flat Tires
- Spare tires are provided in the boot, and it is the client’s responsibility to replace a flat tire. We can provide this service for an additional charge.
- Please report all flat tires to us. Standard punctures will not incur a charge; however, if a tire is torn, a replacement fee will apply.
Payment Options
- Payments can be made in Euro, USD, or SCR via cash or credit card.
- A convenience fee of 3% applies for Visa or MasterCard payments, and 5% for American Express payments.
Insurance Coverage
Collision Damage Waiver (CDW): Included in the rental price, limiting your liability to a €1500 excess for damages to the vehicle. This means in the event of damage, you are responsible for the first €1500, with JL Car Hire covering any amount beyond this.Third-Party Insurance: All vehicles are fully covered for third-party liability in case of an accident.
Insurance Conditions
- No deposit is blocked or charged on the credit card, but the renter must ensure they have funds available for any potential damages.
- Exclusions from Coverage: The insurance does not cover:
- Damages due to drunk driving, gross negligence, or illegal activities.
- Damage to the underside of the vehicle.
- Loss or damage to keys.
- Damage to tires or windows (windscreen, glass, etc.).
In these cases, the renter is fully liable, and the €1500 excess will not apply.
